Anyone tried using a Raspberry Pi on livewire to monitor a Livewire audio stream? Any thoughts or tips?

Hi Rod,

I have done this - purely for fun I must stress! I don't consider the Pi a tool that is suitable for professional deployment (although I am a big fan and it has its place as a development and education device).

I wrote a simple python script which simply subscribes the Pi to a known IGMP group address and connects the socket to a playback application.

If you like I could dig out whatever I can find of the script. I think I even have a few notes of the commands which you can call manually to do the same....its pretty hacky but I recall it working well.
