Hey All,

Just wondering if the IP Driver is or will be compatible with Windows 7?

Thanks

beta version 2.5.0.8 has been found to work with 32-bit installs of Windows 7. IP driver is in the process of being rewritten to support future OS. IP driver is not supported under 64-bit OS currently.

Has there been a beta release of a 64bit driver that I might have missed? Or is it coming soon?

At the date of this post, there is no 64-bit version.

64-bit drivers are a little harder to make because of new policies at Microsoft from my understanding. It is more than just code at this point. I am not aware of the timeline, but I can tell you we are looking into it.

as a side note to this subject version 2.5.2.3 of IP driver fixes naming convention as it has been changed in Windows Vista and 7. This is fairly important when it comes to OEM versions since earlier versions would show all I/O as the same name in Windows. 2.5.2.3 resolves this new method in which windows identifies device names.

Any word on the ability to record via ASIO @ 44.1 in the final build, or will the ASIO4ALL device be required? Just tried it with 2.5.2.3 with no luck.

A majority of our third parties & remote submission systems are fixed at 44.1 so it just simplfies life greatly.

Thanks!
